On Oct. 4, 1955, while travelling across Russia by train on a diplomatic mission, Senator Richard Russell and two companions clearly saw two disk-shaped craft ascend in the sky. Russell was Chairman of the Armed Services Committee at the time, so his testimony was not taken lightly. Detailed reports were filed with the Air Force, CIA and FBI and kept secret for 30 years, until released in the 1980s under the Freedom of Information Act. This package contains photocopies of the released reports, as well as biographical information on Russell and an article on the incident from the National Enquirer. The copies of the reports are very poor, but legible. Some names are censored, but most of the reports are complete. Although no analysis is provided, these raw intelligence documents provide a fascinating look into how the government handled a sensitive UFO case. -- Glenn Campbell
