Below is selection of USGS maps for National Parks and scenic attractions throughout the U.S. From all the maps and scales available, we have selected what we believe is the best general-use topographic map for touring by car or on foot. The scale of the map varies according to the size of the park. Most are very large (in paper size) and cover the area of 2 or 3 comparable maps from the standard map series.
Our preference is for folded maps for convenient use in the field. Where a folded version is not available, we stock the "flat" version, which is shipped rolled. All maps show elevation and topography with countour lines. We prefer shaded relief maps when available, which give an illusion of depth and tell you which way the land is sloping.
