A history of the "Marfa Lights" -- glowing orbs seen near the town of Marfa, Texas, for over a century. The author recounts the most compelling of the sighting reports and describes several theories to explain them (neglecting only UFOs). If you are visiting the area, this booklet provides enough information to conduct your own skywatch. Includes a map of the area and an extensive bibliography on these and other "earth lights."
