This spectacular 1999 wal1 calendar is filled with amazing amateur photographs of unidentified llying objects, original art by UFO abductees, stories of UFO phenomena, and Renaissance depictions of UFOs. Day-by-day interactions with VFOs and alien sightings are chronicled and a monthly "alien gallery" features twelve of the most commonly seen beings from outer space. It is a calendar that will intrigue even the most skeptical UFO watchers.
Chilean-American journalist Jose Antonio Huneeus was born in New York in 1950, the son of a Chilean diplomat and United Nations official. He studied French at the Sorbonne University in Paris in 1970 and Journalism at the University of Chile in Santiago in the early 1970s. Huneeus has written extensively on ufology for various magazines, newspapers, and bulletins in Chile, Spain, Brazil, the United States,Japan, and elsewhere; he has also covered space, ecological, and scientific issues as a science journalist since 1973. His "UFO Chronicle" column has appeared in FATE magazinc since 1993, and his UFO articles are published in many international magazines, such as Borderland in Japan, Mas Alla and Ano Cero in Spain, Magazin 2000 in Germany, and others.
Huneeus serves as International Coordinator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world's largest private ufological organization and has contributed several papers tor MUFON Symposia, the PSI Science Institute of Japan, and the Fourth European Congress in Lyon, France. He edited the anthology Study Guide to UFOs, Psychic and Paranormal Phenomena in the USSR (NY: Abelard Publications, 1991) and was one of three authors of the UFO Briefing Document—The Best Available Evidence published by the UFO Research Coalition (CUFOS, FVFOR, MUFON). Huneeus was also consultant and producer for a EaserActive disc in Japan, UFO & ET produced for Pioneer Electronic by the Tokyo company Studio Garage.
Huneeus has lectured at dozens of conferences in the Americas, Europe, and Asia during the past 15 years, receiving the "Ufologist of the Year" award at the National UFO Confercncc in Miami Beach in 1990, and the 1991 annual award of the New York Fortean Society. He has appeared on many national and international radio and TV programs, including Nippon-TV, Fox Encounters, the McLaughlin Report on CNBC, the Sci-Fi channel, the Russian documentary film UFO: Top Secret, and other broadcasts in South America, Europe, and the Far East.
