It is a real encyclopedia, similar in style and standards
to the Encyclopedia Britannica.
These two massive volumes, comprising nearly 1200 dense pages,
cover every major UFO case and personality from the
phantom airship sightings of the 19th Century through the
late 1980s.
The price may seem high, but this book replaces dozens, if not hundreds,
of other UFO books, and it is a better bargain
that the $300 cost of the first edition.
Casual readers can get an abridged version in the $19.95
UFO Book,
which in itself is an impressive volume.
The full set is for serious, dedicated researchers who can
appreciate the value of the extended references contained herein --
about four times the material in The UFO Book.

because of its low price. If you've absorbed it all and
want access to addtional reference material,
consider getting the full encyclopedia.
Comments
Although there are fewer pages in this 2-volume second edition than there were
in the original 3-volume set, the print is much denser, so there is
actually more material in the new edition.
The new edition contains everything in the original edition and more.

Should We Wait Off???
It seems like this UFO encyclopedia is incredible with a lot of information, but the fact that it is edition #2 makes me wonder if I should just hold off and wait for a possible edition #3 which may come down in price and still cover more information. If anyone has some input on this, please email me.
- From the Moderator: The new Second Edition looks stable -- a fine tuning of the
original edition -- and I wouldn't expect a Third Edition for many years.
