An impressive and scholarly review of recent UFO cases in Europe by the head of MUFON Central European Section. The focus is on scientific data, and the book displays many charts and graphs. Of special interest is the analysis of anomalous radar returns in Central Europe that seem to show an object travelling erratically at enormous speed. While most other UFO books are anecdotal and sensationalistic, this one seems to offer some substantial evidence. Clearly one of the best UFO books of 1998. Color photographs and illustations throughout.

We believe this book will be a useful tool for investigators and aerial phenomena around the world. It certainly provides credence to the fact that UFOs are not localized to the United States. The radar cases clearly indicate that UFOs are indeed captured on sensor systems that do not rely on visual acumen or human psychology. As the reader will learn, the European researchers, all technically qualified scientists, have gone to extensive lengths to prove that simple, known possibilities for causing these traces have been examined and rejected for cogent reasons.
