Opinion of the webmaster, subject to debate

This book is apparently intended for those who have been recently bereaved. It offers words of encouragement and supposed techniques for contacting the dead. Although some people may find spiritual solace in these pages, this should not be confused with a disciplined academic work. In our scan of this book, we found no useful research data and few references. It is a religious work that repeats many popular New Age themes. "Religion," as we define it, consists of claims made on faith without any attempt at verification. As such, this book is out of our field. -- Glenn Campbell
