The meeting of two great shlockmeisters. We suspect that Steiger did most of the actual "writing," while Bell only walked though and left his name behind. The books is composed of hundreds of small sections each about a page in length and covering just about every popular paranormal topic. We detected nothing original here. The Source appears to a recycling program for Steiger's previous books. Adding the Art Bell name to the cover allows the publisher to charge $21.95 instead of the straight-to-paperback price Steiger's works normally get. -- Glenn Campbell
