Assortment Abbreviations Used
bottom . Color, high-resolution, poster-sized satellite images of selected
areas of Nevada, produced from enhanced Landsat photos
by the U.S. Geological Survey.
Area covered is the same as corresponding USGS topo maps
(1:100000 or 1:250000).
The coverage is intermittant, and there seems to be no obvious
pattern to which areas are included.
There is no official satellite image map for Area 51, but
we have published one of our own, listed below.
We stock all available Image Maps for Nevada.
Outside of Nevada, we have selected a few image maps that are
particularly attractive or that might have special interest to UFO buffs.
Unless stated otherwise,
all image listed are on a scale of 1:100000 with a size of 24" by 36".
Some images (specified below) have a same-scale topographic map on reverse.
All images are usually in stock for immediate shipment.
All are rolled and are shipped in a mailing tube.
