This is a self-published
collection of black and white photos taken around the perimeter
the Nellis Air Force Range and the Nevada Test Site.
It shows the main sight you would see if you drive the
big circle route from Las Vegas to Rachel to Tonopah and
back to Las Vegas.
While there is nothing here that you can't see yourself,
this folio gives a
fairly good impression of the landscape for those who
have never visited the area.
Might save you the expense of visiting.

The Nevada Desert Experience is a photo log of the Nellis Air Force
Range and Nevada Test Site area. At first glance most people would
not think of this desolate military reservation as a scenic area,
but the beauty of the Nevada Desert holds many surprises to anyone
that travels this part of the State.
As seen by the map, there are two ways to drive around the Nellis
Range/Test Site. One is to take Highway 95 and driving in a clockwise
direction around the area. The second direction which is more popular
to those looking for unusual lights in the sky, is to drive Highway
93 and travel around the military zone in a counterclockwise direction.
The pictures in this book were taken from the first route described.
Due to the extreme weather conditions in this part of Nevada, be aware
that it can very hot in the summer months, and very cold in the winter.
Be prepared for anything, and enjoy your Nevada Desert Experience.
