This is a big, dense, heavily illustrated "coffee table" book on the Air Force Weapons School at Nellis Air Force Base. It is best equated to a college yearbook whose primary market is apparently alumni of the school and a few hard-core aviation buffs. For the rest of us, there may be too much information -- and too many pretty pictures of airplanes. The high price is justified by the glamorous photography of nearly every kind of aircraft that has passed through Nellis. The text is highly detailed, and even includes the curricula and grading systems for the various Weapons School courses. Readers with a special interest in Nellis Air Force Base won't be disappointed with this book and the reams of data it provides. -- Glenn Campbell
