Find a Web Page Color

         

This utility finds web page colors by name (e.g. "blue") from a palette of over 500 colors. A table is displayed with a sample of each color, its name and its hexidecimal value. You can use these colors in your own page by copying the hexidecimal value. (The color names alone may work for some broswers but not all, so it is safer to use hex.) These colors may be used as backgrounds for pages or tables or as font colors.

To find a color by name, enter one or more characters:
(e.g. "b" for blue, brown, etc.)

OR enter one or more hexidecimal characters (0-9,A-F).

If you enter one character, the program will search for any name beginning with that character. If you enter more than one character, the program will search for any name containing that string. (Example "b" will find "blue", but "bl" will find both "blue" and "darkblue".)
