That does not encourage list lurkers to shed their cloak and become regular posters to the list. The other option is to send your personal barbs off list to the individual and as we say in the bar: take it outside. Please, I am not lecturing, I make my fair share of sarcastic jabs on and off list (though I am relatively new to Skunk-works) I just like the listserv environment, it has broadened my knowledge and enthusiasm for things I am interested in (planes). So no one leave(!) because that leaves voids in the list's knowledge base, and let us remain civil toward each other.
