Re: A Latino/conspiracy angle on Roswell claims http://www.ufomind.com/misc/1997/dec/d07-001.shtml Well, now we find that Dr. Lincoln LaPaz was connected to Roswell. I think not. He was indeed recruited to help in the Japanese Balloon Bomb attacks which he wrote about in 1954. We now also find that LaPaz was poking around Roswell. At the time of Roswell, Dr. Lincoln LaPaz was in Oklahoma. He was stopping off at places he had heard might have meteor impacts. Some local newspapers reported his search. Only rumor connects him with Roswell. If there are documents, let's see them. LaPaz was very interested in the "green fireball" phenomenon. He did look into a number of UFO reports. He generally maintained that the green fireballs and the "unknowns" of UFO reports represented some secret man-made devices. LaPaz once called UFOs, "The Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse." Loren Gross adapted this phrase for the title of his UFO History series. Again, asserting that LaPaz was at Roswell does not prove anything, let's see the proof. -- Jan Aldrich Project 1947 http://www.iufog.org/project1947/ +--------------------------------------------------------------- | UFOMIND MAILING LIST - Supporting the Ufomind/PsiSpy Website | http://www.ufomind.com/misc/ - Glenn Campbell, Moderator | "unsubscribe"/"subsingle" to: ufomind-request@lists.best.com | Submissions to: ufomind@lists.best.com | | RELEVANCE OF THIS MESSAGE: Response to Previous | | Index: Lincoln LaPaz +---------------------------------------------------------------
