Stanton Freidman interviewed in the fortnightly paranormal
collectable "The X-FACTOR" it is billed as covering,
cover - ups, paranormal, Mysteries and UFO's. He was
interviewed in the first edition which I purchased
on the 28th dec. 1996.
Claims
---------
1) Believes there were two crashes near Roswell in 1947, one
at Corona, leaving a large amount of debris, and a second
crash 240 km away to the west on the plains of San Augustin,
this crash left a large metallic object stuck in the ground.
It then goes on to show a artists impression of the saucer
based on Freidmans eye - witnesses reports. No direct quote
is available as this is stated in a section headed "CASE notes"
and is not a quote from Freidman.
2) He goes on to say : -
"I've now interviewed over 200 witnesses, of whom 30 were
involved with the discovery, recovery and subsequent
cover - up of both crashes in New Mexico in 1947"
3) He then says : -
"And I've provided testimony to Congressional hearings in
1968 and at the United Nations in 1978."
When asked : -
"What kind of reaction do you get when you speak to
government bodies?"
4) When asked about MJ - 12 he says after a brief summary : -
"I've even collected $1000 from one critic for proving him
wrong about the typeface on one of the MJ - 12 documents."
5) On the subject of alien abductions he says : -
" Yes, some people have been abducted, but you cannot make
a blanket statement."
6) In a sub section called "View POINT" his view point is
put across on Santilli's autopsy video, but unlike the over
sub section (see point 1) there are two quotes:-
"nothing in it was associated with a crashed saucer at
Roswell or anywhere else. Nothing matched."
"He's refused to have the film or details of the cameraman
verified. Where's the evidence?"
7) When asked if being a scientist is a help or hindrance
in UFO research he says, amongst other things : -
"Also, because virtually everything I worked on as a
scientist was classified, I had a chance to understand how
security works. I wrote classified documents. I had a
security clearance."
This fortnightly serial cost 0.75UKP but as the next issues
price goes up to 1.75UKP I doubt if I shall be wasting my
money on it again.
