RE: Interview with Project Scientist of Mars Global Surveyor Mission -
Dr. Arden Albee, Ph.D.
I just finished a recorded interview with Dr. Albee Arden who is the Chief
Project Scientist of the Mars Global Surveyor Mission at JPL, that will be
aired this Sunday, May 3rd., on The 'X' Zone Radio Show that is broadcast
live from 11:00 p.m. EDT - 01:00 Monday AM EDT.

Dr. Albee received his Ph.D. at Harvard University, is a Professor of
Geology and Planetary Sciences and is the Dean of Graduate Studies at
Caltech. For many years, Dr. Albee was an investigator of the returned lunar
samples, and has served on many NASA advisory and planning committees. Dr.
Albee has been the Chief Scientist for JPL for 6 years. Dr. Albee is the
Project Scientist for the Mars Global Observer Mission, which, unfortunately
was lost on August 21, 1993, after being launched in September 1992.
During the interview which is 30 minutes in length, Dr. Albee stated that if
any artificial structures were discovered on any NASA mission, they (NASA
and their Mission Partners) would immediately go to the international media
with their findings since these findings would ensure continued funding for
the space exploration project. Dr. Albee also described the other facets of
the mission including, areobraking procedures, how the imaging is processed
- it took the spacecraft 11 months to get to Mars - it takes the images 26
minutes to reach earth from the spacecraft - magnet readings, and so on. We
also spoke about the Face on Mars conspiracy theories and cover-ups.
Something that was discovered during the interview with Dr. Albee was the
fact that not one of the individuals, groups, television or radio shows that
"endorse" and promote the Face on Mars conspiracy and government cover-ups
have never called JPL, Lockheed/Martin or NASA and challenged their findings.
On Sunday, June 7, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the 6th human to walk on the Moon
will be a guest on THE 'X' ZONE, in our continuing effort to bring to our
radio and Internet listening audience, in-depth investigate and concise
journalism in an effort investigate, interact and interview those who have
first-hand information into man's quest of space exploration and our
continue search of extraterrestrial existence.
Dr. Albee's final words were in reply to a question that I asked pertaining
to the existence and discovery of extraterrestrial life. Dr. Albee stated
that he believed that first contact with extraterrestrial entities would be
through a radio transmission - not unlike the work that SETI is doing.
The truth is out there, and together we will find it. However, in order to
find the truth, we must collectively dispel the theories and allegations put
forth by those whose motives are for individual gain ... not for universal
advancement.
