Subject: Re: Campbell, Lindemann & Rense: Government Contractors?
Being a former newspaper reporter, although not with any wire service
such as the AP, UPI, or Reuters, among others, this story is hilarious for
the mistakes in most wire service style books, not to mention several
apparent factorial errors. What "intelligence" officer would ever admit such
a program like that described ever existed and let his name be used. Someone
in his position probably has a top secret or maybe even a "Q" clearance.
Even if he left the Navy for a higher paying civilian job he still carries
his clearance and what civilian defense contractor would want to hire someone
making statements like this. Also I don't think Reuters puts ":Reuters News
Service" on their stories, I think they just say Reuters after the dateline.
The last paragraph is a hoot. I doubt if Reuters would list a subject's wife
and family and her hometown in a wire service story. I doubt if the Las
Vegas Sun would even run such a paragraph. Sounds like something out of the
Hooterville Times.

There is no question that the alleged "Reuters" story defaming Jeff Rense,
Glenn Campbell and myself is a complete fabrication. It is not clear who
created it, but its appearance on an ACC board does suggest possible
culpability. This is a transgression not only against Rense, Campbell and
Lindemann but also against Reuters -- who have substantially deeper pockets
than the three individuals and undoubtedly will not be amused to learn that
this fraudulent and libelous story has gone out in their name.
Perpetrators, beware. This will not go unanswered.

Subject: Bogus Reuters News Story
From: authority@webtv.net (Doc Barry)
A false story, supposedly a Reuters release is being circulated on the
internet. This story originated on the ACC Images bulletin board, posted by
someone named "Kitty".
The story is a smear against Glenn Campbell, Jeff Rense, and Michael
Lindemann, accusing them of being contractors for government agencies.
A thorough search of Reuters dispatches will show that there is no such
Reuters story. It is a false item.
This deliberate plant of false information, showing a bogus wire
service heading, is a glaring example of disinformation and libel on the
internet.
The three people libeled are among the most truthful reporters of UFO
and government cover-up information found on the internet and radio dial.
Anyone who circulates such lies about people known for their integrity
should be punished. == Doc

Can I be punished, too? PLEASE punish me. I like being defamed. My
integrity deserves to be ravished. Oooo, yeah, baby! Give me more, more...
Don't stop, please don't stop.
