As mentioned in an earlier posting, here are the 1998 predictions
from several professed psychics. This is the document assembled by
Peter Petrisko <ptp@primenet.com> and found at:

THE GREAT '98 PREDICTION CONTEST ----------------------------------------
These predictions come from the public appearances and/or websites of
the people included. All were compiled and posted to at least two Usenet
newsgroups, alt.current-events.earth-changes & alt.fan.art-bell, the first
week in January 1998. (Excepting Ed Dames, whose 'technical remote viewed'
future events - not "psychic predictions" per se, added 2/10/98.)
At the end of this year, correct predictions will be tallied and
compared both to each other and a set of predictions made by extrapolating
past and current news headlines and global trends.
A separate file, prediction98.hits, will be updated regularly with a
list of "hits" - i.e., correct predictions.
Please save THIS file and propagate to other sites if possible. If and
when you see a prediction come to pass, email me with that info and its
