This notice serves as announcement on June 1, 1998, that John Merrell, and the
party of Fellowes, Hartman, and Rivers have issued a legal filing on
statements made on and connected to webmaster@ufomind.com This serves as
notice that statements made about John Merrell, and references to John Merrell
on behalf and as party to Noreen Renier are considered false and defamatory.
These same statements have been reprinted in print media and referenced to
webmaster@ufomind. com, by the parties writing the material found and
reference in public document FA-6789-2487, N.Y. State/Newark/Clay. Filings
are present or will appear in the states of New York, Florida, and Texas on or
about June 1, 1998. Responsible parties to webmaster@ufomind. com will be
contacted if considered necessary to participate in hearings connected to the
dissemination of these materials. The limitations for liability are apart
from actions considered as damages resulting from the loss of business
information, or the pecuniary loss arising out of the use of the statements
made on behalf of the report as published.

I have no idea who John Merrell is or what the message is referring to.
I assume that this message is from one of our known "problem
clients" with a history of sending false legal notices.
Some clues:
-- The source of the message is AOL, where anyone can create an
anonymous screen name.
-- Real legal notices are not sent by email.
-- The message doesn't specify what it is complaining about.
(It doesn't seem to be saying anything at all.)
-- Needlessly pompous language.
-- No contact information is given for "John Merrell" or his
party of Fellows.
-- The conspicuous use of a document number reminds me of Jack
Schulman, who was criticized for not having case numbers for
his fake legal notices. He then started putting them on
everything.
I am filing this message in the Noreen Renier section because that
is the only name I recognize, but she may be only a victim.
