Included that night was one that read, "A UFO 'mothership' will be caught on film (video), during the day, over a major southwest city, either in California, Arizona, New Mexico or Texas." A month later, during a January 29 re-appearance on the late night radio show, host Bell mentioned the "UFO mothership" prediction, to which Morton replied, "It already happened." He then referenced the January 11 through 15 sightings in, and around, Phoenix AZ. However, the record of these sightings, as written by Arizona Skywatch director Tom King, doesn't bear this out. In fact, the only daytime sighting the entire 5-day period was on Jan. 11. All others took place after 7pm, most after 9pm. During that time of year, in Phoenix, it's dark (i.e. not "during the day") by 6:30pm. I wrote Tom King directly, as his original description of the Jan. 11 sighting was of "three shiny silvery objects", not a huge "mothership". King wrote back, and stated he was the only witness, as documented by AZ Skywatch, to report the three objects on Jan. 11, and, to quote King directly, "No mothership was captured on tape (video), day OR night recently." Between Jan. 12 and 15, other witnesses reported seeing "orange objects", bright moving lights some people, as with the sighting last March, compared to flares, even though some of these 'flares' moved upwards, sideways and faster than any regular flare. I asked King about those sightings, to confirm none were daytime events. King replied, "All of the orange objects were taped at night. We are still investigating them and comparing them to known flares." Lastly, I brought up Morton's mention, made almost in passing, that the "daytime mothership" video was being analyzed by Jim Dilettoso, of Phoenix's Village Labs. King pointed out that he was working directly with Dilettoso on all known footage, adding, "Morton is wrong on his prediction of a 'mothership' taped here in the daytime recently, and you can quote me on that." Evidently, Morton was either confused about the time of day when the latest "Phoenix footage" was filmed, or confused it with another incident elsewhere. In any case, his prediction is, at least for now, NOT a correct "hit". _____________________________________________________________________________ Tom King's original report, on the Jan. 11-15 sightings, was posted at www.sightings.com, and on Usenet newsgroup alt.ufo.reports +--------------------------------------------------------------- | UFOMIND MAILING LIST - Supporting the Ufomind/PsiSpy Website | http://www.ufomind.com/misc/ - Glenn Campbell, Moderator | Submissions to: ufomind@lists.best.com | "unsubscribe" (in body) to: ufomind-request@lists.best.com | | RELEVANCE OF THIS MESSAGE: UFO personalities | | Index: Sean Morton +---------------------------------------------------------------
