Considering the amount of users that appear to be accessing your website, and the specific page in question, we feel that some level of damage has already occurred. Our legal council has recommended that prior to taking legal action, we request that you remove any reference, including hypertext-links to the banzai-net.com homesite and the reference
Be sure to examine the server root* for more clues about who might be operating this site. (Why "bonzai"?)from the page in question immediately.
Bansai's "legal council" must be a bold maverick in internet law: This is the first time we have heard of a web provider not wanting to be linked by other web sites. Does a web site have a "right of privacy"? If so, why would you have a web site at all? And is it slanderous to merely mention a web site and ask about its ownership?
Banzai-Net, a production of "Dreamland Graphic Web Design" [See domain registration*], appeared to have somewhere between two and three clients when we examined the server root* last night. Now the client list is gone!
One minor point regarding the letter above: Is that "legal council" or "legal counsel"? A "council" could be Bob, Gene, Darryl and whoever the other client is -- a fire protection district as we recall. "Counsel" would have been a real lawyer enrolled before a state bar.
Our Director wrote back in an ever-courteous manner:

Darryl Knox President Bansai-Net Dear Mr. Knox: Thank you for your email message regarding possible "slanderous or libelous statements" about bonsai-net on our web site. If you would kindly provide us with a name and phone number for your corporate counsel, we will be happy to discuss the matter with them. Or you can have your lawyer contact me directly at the phone number below.

Batten down the hatches, maties! The gale's a-gonna blow!
The site was introduced to us by Lazar non-representative Gene Huff (a division of "Hular") in a typically vile email message to Our Director.
(Sigh! Huff has been threatening for some time to expose Our Director as a child molester. We wish he'd carry through! Huff claims to have the photographs to prove it: Glenn Campbell en flagrante with little children. Huff claims to have received these photos in an anonymous package from Malden, Mass., at about the same time we received a damaging package about Bob Lazar. (Ours contained transcripts of interviews with people who allegedly knew Lazar at Los Alamos. The interviews suggest, among other things, a lecherous interest by Lazar in underaged girls.) We are not sure what is going on, but we smell a prank. Although our package "seems" authentic and is interesting even as a fraud (Who created it and why?), we have dumped it in disgust. We will not deal in anonymous documents. Huff sure loves the child molester stuff, though. It suits his style and illustrates a maxim we have about Area 51: Everyone chooses their own conspiracy.)
We have had time only to glance at the web site because it keeps crashing our browser, which chokes on all the annoying background music. Nonetheless, we make these predictions about the site:
