From: campbell@ufomind.com (Glenn Campbell, Las Vegas) Date: Thu, 12 Jun 1997 22:04:15 -0800 Subject: Triangle, Print References, Bug Fix SATAN'S TRIANGLE How do you like the new "depth triangle" on the header of every ufomind page? It is supposed to indicate how deep you are in the tree structure. I have broken the rules and included exactly one blinking character. On Mac Netscape 3.0, there is a bug which blanks out the character next to the blinking one. I hope this doesn't happen on other browsers. Let me know what you think, especially on other browsers. ======================================================================= PRINT REFERENCES The print references feature is now available on every index page, not just ufologists pages. Just give me the product code of any item in our catalog, along with page numbers or a comment, and I can insert it quickly on any page. This is useful to tell the reader that, say, he can go to Above Top Secret, pages 234-238, for a complete description of a topic, say the Lonnie Zamora incident. E.g., on the Zamora page... Above Top Secret: Pages 234-235 (description of incident) It would be useful if you can include some sort of description in parentheses, not just page numbers, so the reader knows what the reference is good for. FYI: The internal code I would use for the above is: ats: 234-235 (Description of Incident) ======================================================================= BIG FIX The system was trashing the old initials whenever a change was made to a link. This has been fixed, and now both new and old initials are retained, as well as the dates of both.
