 > Panel Urges Study of UFO Evidence
c The Associated Press
 By RON HARRIS
 > SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Scientists reviewing reports of UFOs have concluded
that some
> sightings are accompanied by compelling physical evidence that merits further
study, according
> to a report to be published Monday.
 > A nine-member panel said there was no convincing evidence that
extraterrestrial intelligence
> was responsible for the physical evidence.

     [Richard Boylan, Ph.D. replies:]
Since this particular panel is composed of _physical_ scientists, and
is looking only at
_physical_ evidence, naturally it is not in possession of _physical_ evidence
of extraterrestrial
intelligence. Such physical evidence would consist of a live extraterrestrial,
something that both
the official government and the Shadow Government have spent billion$ assuring
would never fall
into civilian hands. Thus, because the physical scientists do not possess a
physical ET, they
conclude that they have no physical evidence of extraterrestrial life.

A panel of behavioral and forensic scientists expert in the field of
extraterrestrial encounters
would reach far different conclusions, and has.
In 1992 a group of behavioral and social, as well as physical,
scientists met at Massachusetts
Institute of Technology to convene the Abduction Study Conference. The
preponderance of
behavioral scientists there, including myself, concluded that extraterrestrial
encounters are real,
not psychiatric anomalies, and deserve careful scientific study.
In 1995 in Washington, DC another panel of behavioral scientists and
medical and forensic
professionals, met to discuss the impact on society of extraterrestrial
contacts. We participants in
this Cosmic Cultures Conference drew conclusions similar to those drawn by the
behavioral
scientists at MIT.
Peter Sturrock's 1998 panel of physical scientists do an important
service by pointing out the
legitimacy of physical scientists investigating UFO phenomena as valid objects
of scientific study.
Thus, physical scientists may soon catch up with pioneering behavioral
scientists, such as
University of Wyoming emeritus professor Leo Sprinkle, Ph.D., who have been
studying this
phenomenon for over three decades.
And hopefully now that the Sturrock Report is out, _physical_
scientists will now feel
supported by scientific colleagues to give this formerly-taboo subject the same
careful
examination which science has accorded other phenomena of our environment.
Thus, the 1998
Sturrock Report will be a long-awaited antidote to the CIA-doctored Condon
Report of the
1960s, which speciously concluded that UFOs were unworthy of scientific
examination.
