 > tell -- and through OMNI's "Project Open Book" we searched far and wide for
examples -- nobody has ever been arrested or charged -- much less convicted and
sentenced -- for actually doing so.

NASA's chief "cover story" spokesperson, Mr. Oberg's above misleading
statement should get the CSICOP award for dishonest reporting. (CSICOP should
know.)
Since, as Mr. Oberg admits, numerous governmental witnesses to UFO
matters are intimidated by threats of arrest and sentencing if they went
against their National Security oaths and revealed what they know about UFOs,
and therefore have refrained from testifying publicly, then OBVIOUSLY Oberg
cannot find examples of arrest and sentencing for testifying.
To argue that the absence of arrests "proves" that these government
witnesses do not have any genuine basis for fear of arrest is absurd! All Mr.
Oberg has to do, if he were really interested in the truth, is read the
penalties section of the National Security Act about draconian fines and
imprisonment. Such severe penalties would give anyone pause.
