Subj: Paranoia=Disconnection from Reality? Date: Sun, Jul 2, 1995 8:45 AM PDT From: jhdaugh@a-albionic.com X-From: jhdaugh@a-albionic.com (James Daugherty) To: psychospy@aol.com CC: prj@mail.msen.com (New Paradigms Discussion) The problem I see with the psychospy material I have read so far is that it fails to see that more common than "traditional" suspicion- fear paranoia is the refusal to think uncomfortable thoughts. True enough, the paranoid over-compensates by making a virtue of thinking terrifying, disturbing thoughts. But, the majority makes the opposite mistake! Both mistakes lead to a disconnection from reality! The more common error of the majority is the characteristic of the majority which makes it subject to being ruled by an exploitive elite! It seems to me that the balanced mind would try to think without being influenced by the emotions elicited by the thoughts entertained and realize that all thoughts about external reality are hypotheses or theories subject to further evidence and analysis! Certainty is not possible to the human being. \\\\\\\\\*////////////////// James Daugherty, volunteer Postmaster for A-albionic Research (POB 20273, Ferndale, MI 48220), a ruling class/conspiracy research resource for the entire political-ideological spectrum.
