- Event report - By Lan Lamphere <9/3/97 #1>
On May 25, 1997, around 7:30 PM (CDT), the Windchaser storm crew took photos and video footage of a
developing tornado just west of Loco, a small town in southern Oklahoma. Two weeks later Lan Lamphere, our
director, found that a segment of video that he had taken was not just of a wall cloud and funnel!

Forgiveness & Jack Schulman
I have made my peace with the users of the Internet via a letter that was sent out over the world. Itwas never my intention to hurt, or upset anyone during those times in 1997. If I have hurt anyone in the process of learning more of myself, and my relationship with God, I hope you can forgive me. BTW. I have been a sharpshooter since the age of 7 and I own several weapons which I use in sport shooting to this day. Privacy is somehting lost in the digital age, is not?

Desert Storm and Sharpshooter?
I find it quite funny that Mr.Lamphere is still trying to sell THAT load of garbage.Especially since he lived in a small Alabama town throughout Desert Storm, and from all information we can find, never made it farther than the first week of boot camp.
As for the sharp shooter,he tried to run a scam in Alabama to get people to donate money to him so he could train, and buy a gun.
Honestly the last thing in this world I would like to see is that man with a gun.

Never send Money or Gifts to Lan Lamphere !!
When I first got on the internet about two years
ago, (About the same time Lan Lamphere was interviewed on the Art Bell Show the first time) After hearing Lan on the radio I went to his website and became a regular on his BBS--This was my first time getting involved as a regular on any BBS. (Wasn't I lucky ?) I was on the site for over a year and Lan was selling Tornado/UFO T-shirts etc. When I heard he lost his job I wanted to help financially, So I sent him $20 cash for a T-shirt and a Xmas present that would have cost $60 if I hadn't gotten it free.
I never received a T-shirt or a thank you for the present.

Mr. Lamphere's lack of credibility
Last year Lan lamphere deliberately mailbombed the AR15/M16
Email list involving almost 400 listers. He was using his
Windchaser email address, which was about the same time
he was fired. Since complaints were made to his employer
(Windchaser) this may well be the reason for his dismissal.
During this time he taunted listers by claiming to be involved
in Military Special operations during Desert Storm and had trained
at the olympic Training facility as a competitive shooter.
None of this has been ferified. His mailbombing should be found
in the Ar15 List archives at www.ar15.com
