One of the largest denominations in Brazil The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God is one of the largest denominations, Operation World said, together with the Assembly of God. Since its founding by Bishop Edir Macedo in 1977, the Pentecostal church has grown faster than any other evangelical Christian group.
