Discovery Chanel Show

Hi, I'm a 16 yearold from Boston, MA. I first saw the Discovery Chanel show in the spring of 1998.The Phoenix Lights show aired again last night, so I taped it. I showed the tape with no sound and without an explaination to my cousin who is an AirForce Pilot. They weren't flairs according to him. Now reading the articles on this page it seems the show stunk. This sighting realy fascinated me more than any other one. I look foward to reading more about it.Joe, 11\26\99

Flare theory doesn't explain other nights

I witenessed the Phoenix sightings first hand and actually provided video that appeared on 2 TV stations in Phoneix as well as the Discovery channel special. I saw the first orange light on March 10th and subsequently saw a growing number of lights each evening until the major sigthing on March 13th. These were not flares since they did not move down.

Take me to your leader,please!!!!!!!!

I have always believed in Ufo's and aliens and now that I'm moving to the Scottsdale area, I hope I will have the opportunity to see something. I want so very bad to go to Area 51-----the government has been hiding not only things about UFO's but everything,,do they really think the American people believe that we are the only living things in this universe?? NOT Hope to see ........THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE JUST BELIEVE

Flares and then some

Military flares called balloon flares stay up for a longer time as hot air fills the parachamber. The segment does not last for 20mins btw. The flare segment lasts for just over 6 minutes. No one cares that the lights were spotted over the test range of Luke AFB. Edwards AFB allegedly recieved hundreds of calls to investigate. Why didn't they call Luke AFB? Luke is the home of the 56th FW, why would they call Edwards? Another point; people say they saw a triangle shaped UFO fly over before the lights were seen. The B-2 Bomber has 3 taxi lights. You will notice 3 taxi lights. One in the nose and one on each wing tip. Could this have been a B-2?
