From: marjkomb@webtv.net (Marjorie Russin) To: Glenn Campbell Date: March 1997 On Palm Sunday 1950 I, a former U. S. Navy officer, came out of the Translux Theatre in downtown Washington, D. C. in broad daylight with two women friends. I looked up and saw a metallic object hovering low over the city. It was noiseless and appeared to have a bright fire in the center. It appeared to be the size of a middles-sized military aircraft. As soon as I said, 'Look, a flying saucert went up and way. The others saw only a bright light. I wish I had drawn it at the time. It was circular but had a tamborine like appearance with four roundish attachments on the four sides. I have seen only one image like it on "Sightings, " a black ufo in a Russian video.
