"area SW of Tooele" is Dugway Proving Grounds
The mail message referring to the exclusion zone SW
of Tooele (off I-80, not I-70 as was mistakenly stated)
is the Dugway Proving Grounds. The air space restriction
zone is due to the fact that a part of DPG's mission is
the testing of chemical and biological agents delivered
from airplanes. The statement that the "base is only
accessible from the air" is false. DPG is accessible
by two paved roads, used for the shipment of supplies
and the commuting of base personnel.
