1. September 20, 1996: "Revenge of the'God Squad'", The Lincoln County Independent. At Rachel's recent rock concert, the only people behaving badly were the police.
2. May 16, 1996: "Rita Rumor". Report in Lincoln County Record of officer seen in shady deal in Caliente.
3. April 4, 1996: Notice of Civil Rights Action against Nevada Highway Patrol and LCSD Officers. Advertizement in Lincoln County Record.
4. March 6, 1996: A Report to the Governor on the E.T. Highway, suggesting many impropriaties by Sheriff's Department in relation to Area 51.
5. Feb. 5, 1996: Officer Downed in Vicious Cow Attack. The Lincoln County Independent.

7. Jan. 13, 1996: Violent Crime Statistics showing Lincoln County with the lowest rate in the state: 0.3 per 1000 residents, vs. 24.2 for North Las Vegas.
