Watch The Skies
by Curtis Peebles
- This is a skeptic's history of the UFO movement, offering a
plausible - although often superficial - explanation for
most of the major publicized UFO events since the 1947
Kenneth Arnold sighting. Anyone who has pursued any of
these stories, like Roswell or the Travis Walton case, is
bound to find grounds for argument, but it is still
interesting to see the flying saucer phenomenon placed
into an historical perspective. Anyone seriously interested
in UFOs-both pro and con-needs to read this book.
At the least, it provides a good synoptic overview of the
UFO movement, as well as plenty of references.
