Skeptics UFO Newsletter

Internet Status

On Dec. 10, 1995, I wrote Phil Klass a letter asking if there was some way I could help him get SUN on-line, where it would be an important reference on the sins of prominent ufologists. His reply in a Dec. 16, 1995 letter is below. --Glenn Campbell, 12/20/95

Reference Internet, I have heard the rumor that a guy named Gutenberg (Sp.?) has invented something called a printing press that will make it possible to replace a PC, modem and display with printed sheets of paper that you can read in the toilet, carry under your arm while waiting at the airport, etc., etc. If this rumor is true, I predict the demise of the Internet, et al.

Seriously, typically every day I receive 100-200 printed pages of material dealing with AV Week business, UFOs, Condo business, etc. which keeps me much too busy to Waltz The Web (or whatever).

While SUN is essentially a "not-for-profit" venture, I have no desire to go on Internet which is filled with so much crap & junk.

Should SUN even become available on the Web, we will provide a link to it from this permanent page.
