new stealth aircraft, etc.
Although secret, these craft are based on conventional
aerodynamic technology.

AVROCAR & WS 606A Error
You are mistakely assuming that the subsonic Avro VZ-9 AVROCAR convertiplane, and the USAF Supersonic Disc (aka WS 606A, Project Silver Bug, Projects Y & Y2) are the same aircraft. They were entirely different projects, with seperate contracts, etc. If you will add a [WS 606A} to the ufo/topic/aircraft/ page under "People & Orgs" heading I will assist in straightening-out this situation.

Millenium
It seems rather strange that when we draw nearer to that end of any decade that UFO sightings seem to increase in number. Now that we draw close to the millenium this is particually evident. The figures produced by Dr. E.L. Hughs in his 1998 paper on "MILLENIUM SIGHTINGS" makes interesting reading. Do ANY WEBRADS HAVE ANY OPINIONS ON this phenomenon???

Believablity
The F/A18 series aircraft is a stop-gap between ceramics and metal. Any preconcieved notion of super-secret aircraft based on known design will not apply to any new types. An all ceramic or "composite" will be faster and less likely to be "seen". All pictures depicting the "Aurora" is to be considered false. It would use a "dicharge method" to sustane air speed!
