Subject: Re: First Use of the term 'flap'
A quick flick through Keel's 'Trojan Horse' reveals that he was using
the term 'flap' around 1970 or a bit earlier.
Vallee, say, in his 'Anatomy of a Phenomenon' (1965) was using the
term "waves" of sightings or reports.
Popular use of 'flaps' referring to 'waves' of sightings must
have arisen sometime in between.
