If you are a committed skeptic, or perhaps a debunker, it is understandable
why you would have no empathy for Dr. Browns current dilemma and nothing need
be said.

However, if you are someone open-mindedly following the unfolding evidence
and events and are intently or loosely a member of the community some call
UFOlogy - this can be said.

It is troubling that so many who pursue this matter and yearn for the benefit
of the doubt from and to be taken seriously by the mainstream academic and
scientific world,  are so willing to withhold these same gifts from others
within their own community.

What Dr. Brown has or has not done, what is or is not a hoax, what
realtionship this does or does not have to the rest of his team's work,
remains to be ascertained.

Let those of us who pursue these issues give the others who pursue these
issues the same fundamental considerations of fairness, proof and discovery
as the President of Emory University has given Dr. Brown.
