Israeli Briefs- Week One, February
by Barry Chamish
One would think that the sad Achihod alien lizard would be put to rest after
the story that appeared in Yediot Ahronot on Feb. 3. The headline read;
London Scientists: The "Alien" From Achihod Not From Space." The text
explains that the 20 cm "alien" was brought to Manchester by Debby Figel
(sic) frozen in nitroglycerine at a temperature of -273. It was tested by a
well known laboratory which was too ashamed to reveal itself. After testing
one scientist explained why. "It's good the circus is over. No one has any
interest in being identified with this thing. A lot of noise was made for
nothing."
So that should be the end of the story, right? Not so fast. The author of
this piece received a phone call the same day as the newspaper obituary
appeared from a representative of the Damti family of Achihod, who found the
lizard. He apologised on their behalf for the greedy behaviour of the family
and their agents Avishai and Figel (sic). According to him, the Yediot
report was wrong and the lab did find interesting things. Would I please
look at the report and balance the Yediot hatchet job? Sure, as soon as
Debby Figel (sic) is out of the picture.
On a more hopeful note, what appears to be a genuine encounter was widely
researched and reported this week. In December, a teenager named Alex from
Rishon Lezion, a major secondary UFO hotspot, was walking in a park at 11 PM
when he saw a little girl of about six acting strangely. Thinking she was
lost, he approached. She had albino white skin and long hair of the same
colour. When he neared, "she" broke up into dozens of small lights. He
thought he was hallucinating and that is all he remembers. However, a few
unexplainable scars on his back remain from the incident.
Finally, renowned UFO abduction researcher Derrel Sims was my house guest
last week. We investigated a remarkable case In Netanya. After three days,
Mr. Sims left with rocks that do tricks ie. one melts ice on the spot and
neither of us could find a heat source, filmed hypnosis of an encounter with
four small greys and our own personal encounter with the spirits or whatever
that haunt this home. The first details will be published by Michael
Hesemann in Magazin 2000 since he sponsored Mr. Sims' successful voyage.
