Yes, this I realise - AOL e-mailers also have difficulty
keeping lines of text to 70 characters or less. There
are many regular posters here from AOL, some of whom have
sent me private e-mail regarding the limitations of AOL's
software.

The difficulty is that daily, there are at least a dozen
new subscribers here. It can be very frustrating for them
and others to come across messages with no quotes and no
attribution, no dates, etc., etc. With the Archive being
on-line now, some 'newbies' can back-track and read
earlier posts, while others who access the Net via
Bulletin Board Systems cannot. The Archive takes hundreds
of hits a day and part of our collective objective here
needs to be the distribution of cogent, coherent and
inherently useful UFO related information
