Got a question I'd like to pose to your subscribers... >During a recent interview with Mona Stafford, one of the so-called >"Ladies of Liberty," she mentioned how odd it was that she should be >abducted with Louise Smith, a woman that she barely knew and never >socialized with before. Causing me to reflect on my own close >encounter, which occurred while I was with a fellow I'd never >"hung-out" with before either; unlike the Betty and Barney Hill case >and/or the Allagash abduction, for instance. Which leads me to ask: >Does anyone out there have any thoughts or data regarding the >incidence of chance meetings (multiple witnesses) and UFO encounters? >Are such events coincidental, or more likely an "event sociological," >as Francois Truffaut puts it in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind?" It has been my experience to meet people in various places around the continent with whom I had contact in abduction scenarios. I have only met a few of the many people I have conscious memory of interacting with aboard various craft. Most of the time, I have had accurate recollections of the faces and or names of the people I have met in extraordinary circumstances. I have made some mistakes, although there is some sort of recognition that enables both myself and the other person to greet each other in a way that is conducive to familiarity. Usually accompanied by surprise and warm feelings of close regard, these meetings have been rare circumstantial events. Most of the abduction scenarios involve the gathering of groups or teams of people from locations in a large demographic area. One of the clearly defined areas just happens to be the North American continent. Within a short time frame, a group of people can be gathered aboard a craft and be off to a rendezvous. Most of the missions of gathering are arranged as a matter of convenience to all concerned. Some teams are gathered in the early hours of the morning, others are taken in the afternoon and or the evening. Most of the people involved are cued to find an excuse or circumstances that will allow their absence to be unnoticed. I travel a lot for my own personal reasons and to meet people I wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to meet. My career and lifestyle is highly irregular to allow the freedom of my personal dictates. I can meet a person and spend as much time as necessary to talk or to go to other places. I try to be as flexible as possible in my travels to 'lend a hand' to the convenience of others who may not be as mobile. I have found that social circumstances are a valid factor in the chance meetings of people who have had similar experiences. While social status does not have any bearing at all during an abduction scenario, the social structures do tend to keep people grouped. Not often does a prince meet a pauper who has been a member of the same group gathered aboard the same craft, although the event could possibly occur. When the topic of the alien presence is raised, always be careful. I cannot stress the fact enough that no matter what we humans think or do, THEY are not fooled by our silly antics. THEY are the ones who know all there is to know, and THEY are the ones making the plans. People just don't know the extent of the capabilities of the Alien Presence. As for all of the liars, hoaxers and so on, they will have to answer for their actions. Sure, it helps to separate fact from fiction, but it does not condone inappropriate actions. Take care for now, Cathy [Johnson]
