He killed his wife, the jury said, But no wounds on him discovered. And wife=92s teeth, and nails where left _inside_ Her killer unrecovered! So now we=92re going to *fix* it With _invasive_ science tools. Invade the past with cleverness -- **"We=92ll not be played for fools."** We=92ll judge Sam with *grand* wisdom. Books will doubtlessly be sold. Another TRIAL OF THE CENTURY! A meter master=92s dream of gold. But what=92s it mean to all of us? A man _wronged_ for quick convenience? . . .That there are secrets kept behind closed doors! This does not require genius! The secrets of the *hoary* ages Are kept behind closed portals. What of UFO=92s in the 1800=92s? What they *know* would yank your chortle! "Of course, there=92s nothing that we=92re kept from." "There is no planned conspire." "Government gangs are not running amuck." "Situations are *certainly* not dire. . ." Our planet=92s not sick of humankind=92s presence? We treat one another just as fine as you please? A Dow at 7000 but with _low_ take home wages? There=92s no _plain_ disrespect you can see? "But let=92s keep them all dazzled," the meter man says. "Let=92s keep them on their knees, and looking down." "Let=92s really play up this Sam Sheppard thing." ". . .Keep what goes =91round from _*coming*_ around." And so they will, for some more _little_ time. An avalanche suspended in check. . . But leaks, and spurts of all the weird dirt Are nooses tightening on necks.=20 Sam and his son teach a lesson; A lesson we needed to hear. But we were remiss, when we tried to dismiss That lesson long ago, I fear. Good Christ people. . . our CIA sells its coke to kids cheap. In South America, it=92s _cops_ that are killing scared Jews. Christians bury murdered Moslems in swine waste! And our press -- it just spews what it spews. I hear Sheppard=92s message; I=92ll be wary. But it=92s old, with *implies* not admitted. It=92s a dodge used by shadows to suggest to the sheeple What=92s *inconvenient* should not be commited. I listen to too much NPR, I imagine. The station won=92t stop to sell soap. They won=92t bait you with an interesting, empty tidbit, . . .Wont make you _sit_ through those ads like a dope. Lehmberg@snowhill.com A commercial is hard wired to the channel selector on my TV =96 instant channel change. With a lot of channels, sometimes I never even make it back -- even to "Duckman". And don=92t insult me by saying it=92s the commercials that pay for the channels =96 that=92s just a convenient, and disrespectful writing of the rules by the current meter masters, or so says the Alien View.=20 Oh, btw, did the hot shot producer of the "The Fugitive," series throw Mr. Sheppard a god damned bone?=20 ------=20 "I cleave the heavens, and soar to the infinite.
