I think Chris was confining himself to Dr. P's work so I don't see the content of this excerpt as representative of omission on his part. I'm still particularly interested in a formal definition of an 'earthlight,' one that can be used on time/location coded data. My present understanding is that earthlights are _very_ transient, but how transient? Twenty seconds, twenty minutes, twenty days? Are they bound by the characteristics of the ambient seismic activity producing them or can they transit longer distances? Anyway, thanks much for the excerpt! Thanks, take care. John.
