Glenn,

I read the article by Jack Hitt (appropriate name!) several weeks
ago and decided to refrain from comment.  Linda is a friend, and
an honest researcher, and the article is really nothing more than
an extended ego bloat by Mr. Hitt and the classic ploy of blaming
the messenger because you do not like the message.

He essentially says that reports of animal mutilations would go away
if Linda was not there to report them to.  What kind of loon logic is
that??  The reports existed long before Linda became involved (from
Argentina in the late 60s, the first ones I became aware of) and I am
quite sure they would continue if Linda closed up shop tomorrow.

If Mr. Hitt has solved the mystery of animal mutilations by blaming
Linda, then let's watch out for him as he solves the UFO mystery
by blaming UFOlogy!
