I presume by that you now mean that your samples were both
damaged along one edge, hiding any possible further information,
and not brittle, or fragile, as suggested three years ago. This may
seem like a triviality to you but it was quite an issue then, and for
good reason. In fact your statements then were quite misleading.

In part, yes - in addition to his wide experience in handling 16mm film
