There was also an article recently published in one of the Toronto
newspapers where they are now talking seriously about the poles of the
Earth being reversed by a cataclysmic near-miss by a very large object.
This was proposed by Velikovsky decades ago and scoffed at by the
scientific community.

I'll post it when I find it.
