I accept your apology.  Your question was a reasonable one
because my son John does hold an important place in my case.
The question wasn't what bothered me. It was just the use of
our family name.  I had received personal e-mails from those
who said they didn't know my real last name, until it was posted.

I know that you have an objective view regarding most cases. Ob-
jective skepticism is healthy.  However, sometimes we have to be
careful of how we phrase what we write because we don't have the
benefits of facial expressions, or a tone of voice, etc., in our
posts. We have to rely on the words we type.
