I'm very willing to look again.  I didn't claim in my short post that I had
looked at all images of "rods", just that the ones I had looked at looked
insects to me.

Since images are up on a number of web sites, tell me which specific one
you think has convincing images and I'll take a look.

I've got no vested interest one way or another in this.
