MAGAZINES I'm not going to get back into covering these regularly, at least not at this point. Thought I'd better mention that the follow-up to my Power Thinking And The Paranormal article is in the current FATE (August 1998). FORTEAN TIMES for August, in another case of Bob Rickard's fabled synchronicitous timing, has a cover article on "wavies". Amazingly, this fits right into the recent shooting in Washington, D.C., allegedly by someone who though satellite dishes were beaming into his head. Not surprisingly, it has also been reported that he believed in a UFO conspiracy. I'm saying that it's not surprising that it was so reported, not that he would so believe. Pick ten of anything, let's say, police officers, and you probably get some UFO believers and conspiracy believers. The amazing part to me is that statistics recently indicate that more Americans believe "The Government" is covering up UFOs than believe that UFOs exist in the first place!
