Recently an independent panel of scientists in the United
States, the Sturrock Committee, published a report stating that
UFO reports were worthy of detailed scientific study. After
fifty years of UFO reports there are, perhaps, today more
questions than ever before to be answered.

This year instead of holding a conventional conference NUFORC
will be organising a day where a number of topics about UFOs
will be debated. The day will be split into a number of separate
sessions. Each discussion will be lead by a panel made up of UFO
witnesses and Ufologists.

The discussion in each session will centre about the truth or
otherwise of one of the following statements:

1. We shouldn=92t believe what witnesses tell us

2. Abductions have nothing to do with UFOs

3. Modern technology is so advanced that modern reports are not
   worth investigating

4. If UFOs are physical where is the evidence

5. UFOs are extraterrestrial

6. UFOs are messengers of a forthcoming catastrophe


Come and join in what will be an important and lively debate.

NUFORC was formed in 1986 by Ernest Still and Susan Pollock,
with Steve Gamble as Chairman. All aspects of UFO and related
phenomena are studied. NUFORC co-operates with a number of
