The notion that satellites are creating crop circles is hardly new. The problem with it is that, similar to conventional explanations for well documented UFO cases, the theory does not account for all the aspects of the phenomenon, conveniently leaving out the "tough stuff". Remember, there have been a sufficient number of UFO sightings in close proximity to crop circle formations. That at least suggests a connection...unless one dismisses sightings out of hand, in which case one can't be helped. Also (and I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this), even if a satellite were capable of causing the stem of a plant to bend over at the first node, without significant damage to the plant, there is no way IMHO that a lateral force can be generated to lay the stalks in the desired direction, individually, and without screwing up the next stalk in line for bending. Bruce wasn't "attacking" Leanne's thoughts. He's just in a better position to know. _Optical_Physicist_, remember? Greg
