Jerry, Personal opinion is that we DO NOT live in a golden age of the saucer charlatan We do live in an age where anybody and everybody can post their tale on a Web site, go on the lecture circuit, release their own videos etc etc. Had Adamski or Van Tassel been around today they probably would have had their own videos, web sites with their tales and stories and would have been invited on to the UFO lecture circuit. The sponsors of the lectures would have justified with the rational of "well our job is to just put the story out so that people can agree or disagree with them and come to their own conclusions. The ease and availability of mass communication has also led to a marked (in my opinion) increase in UFO documentarys, videos etc. Unlike the 50s when the movie U.F.O. was considered to be the big "event" of the UFO community. Overall, I think this is and has been good, you just must hopefully use sound judgements in the material that we see. My opinion, for whatever its worth. Cheers, Robert
